2. Platform Purpose

Doctor Assistant is a clinic management and appointment platform designed to help clinics manage bookings, queues, consultations, prescriptions, and patient communication workflows.

The platform does not provide medical advice or replace clinical judgment.

3. User Responsibilities

Clinics and Staff

  • Ensure all medical information entered is accurate
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
  • Use the platform in compliance with applicable laws
  • Ensure prescriptions are reviewed before signing

Patients

  • Provide accurate booking and contact information
  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes
  • Avoid misuse, spam, or unauthorized access attempts

4. Appointment and Booking Terms

  • Appointment slots may expire if not confirmed in time
  • Clinics may reschedule or cancel appointments when necessary
  • Wait times shown are estimates and may vary
  • Queue positions may be adjusted in emergency situations

5. Prescription and Medical Information

Prescriptions generated through the platform are created and approved solely by licensed medical professionals.

The platform may provide warnings or safety checks, but final clinical responsibility remains with the prescribing doctor.

6. WhatsApp and Communication

Patients may receive appointment confirmations, reminders, prescription links, and operational messages through WhatsApp or other communication channels.

Delivery of messages depends on third-party network and platform availability.

7. Availability and Service Limitations

While we aim for high availability and reliability, uninterrupted access to the platform cannot be guaranteed at all times.

Maintenance, outages, or third-party failures may temporarily affect service availability.

8. Data and Record Retention

Clinical records may be retained to satisfy medical, regulatory, audit, and legal obligations.

Certain records cannot be permanently removed where retention laws apply.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

Clinics and doctors remain solely responsible for medical decisions and patient care.

10. Termination

Access to the platform may be suspended or terminated in cases of misuse, unauthorized activity, security risks, or violation of these terms.

11. Changes to Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
